Research Activity  
My research area is cryptography and symbolic computation. This research activity has to be replaced in the more  general context of information protection.
I am mainly interested by evaluating the security of cryptographic primitives by means of algebraic methods. The idea is to model a cryptographic primitive as a system of algebraic equations.  Once this modeling is done, the problem is then to solve an algebraic system. Up to now, Gröbner bases appear to yield the best algorithms to do so.
